PICO RIVERA – The Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a woman struck by a train on the weekend as a possible suicide. The incident was reported about 7 a.m., Sunday on the Southern Pacific railroad tracks at their intersection with Rosemead Boulevard, just north of Whittier Boulevard. A train employee said the woman jumped onto the tracks, according to Craig Harvey, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
