Home grown manufacturer Lava is looking to launch a new Android-based budget smartphone in the Indian market. The company has listed a new handset, the Iris 310 Style on its official website at a price of Rs. 3,749.There is however no word yet regarding the official availability of the said device.Let’s take a brief look at the specifications of the device. The Lava Iris 310 Style smartphone features a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display with a 320×480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor with Mali-400 MP GPU alongside 256MB of RAM. The device supports expandable storage of up to 32GB via micro-SD card.The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing snapper.Connectivity options on the device include: GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 1400mAh battery rated to deliver up to 11 hours of 2G talk time and up to 290 hours of standby time.Lava recently launched the Iris Fuel 60 smartphone in India. The device that decks in a mammoth 4000mAh battery has been priced at Rs. 8,888.
